Hello, I’m Gem — the maker, designer and proud founder of The Little Gem Company (or TLGC as I lovingly call it — that stands for Tender Loving Gem Care 💛).

The name “Little Gem” has followed me since childhood, and when I received a personalised birth frame after the arrival of my eldest son, something clicked. I knew I wanted to help others gift that same kind of magic — something heartfelt, meaningful, and completely unique.

​

So, I started creating during stolen moments — crafting at the kitchen table during nap times, juggling a full-time job and mum life. It was a hobby, a passion project, and a little escape.

Then 2020 happened. Lockdown turned everything upside down — no job to go back to, three boys under three at home… and this tiny handmade business quietly waiting for its moment. That was the push I needed to grow The Little Gem Company into something more.

Now, what started as a side project is a full-time job that lets me do what I love while being there for my boys. Every product you see is made with care, kindness, and creativity — and if you ever want something truly bespoke, I’ll happily create a one-of-a-kind gift just for you.
